Tyler and I had a wonderful weekend decorating the Christmas tree and baking cookies for my brother who is in the Navy overseas. I loved decorating the tree when I was Tyler's age and that was when I was catapulted into the spirit of Christmas.... and it has happened agian! This year I feel the presence of the Lord already and I'm excited to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Tyler seemed to navigate away from the tree and the cookies cause he was losing interest pretty fast. He rolled 4 cookies out of the dough and called it quits. Guess I need to have a little girl if I wanna do some baking cause its definitely not Tyler's thing. Never the less.... sharing the time with him will never be forgotten and teaching him generosity for our military and for my brother who is on the Destroyer in the Navy and cannot return home for thanksgiving or Christmas is priceless.

sounds like a good time. i made cookies with a bunch of kids too and i just loved it. makes me wish my body would let me have more kids, but i can't. for the meantime, i have to kidnap some, bake cookies and take them home all sugared up!
